This tree stands at the entrance of a little walk way that goes from the School Sisters Home back to the cemetery. I was told over the years there were a lot of rumors about what took place in the wooded area, wonder if the markings are an indicator. No clue, nor would I even know what to look for.
I can't read what's on the tree but it looks like it might be interesting....wonder what the tree thinks.
